Description: Ojibwe bandolier bag consisting of a single piece of red wool folded into an unlined envelope pouch. The pouch and straps feature loom-beaded panels with geometric designs and beaded tabs with yarn tassels. The bag was probably collected by Oscar E. Garrison [1825-1886] of Crow Wing County, Minnesota, who had served as a northern ranger during the 1862 U.S.-Dakota War. Ojibwe or Dakota in origin.
