Description: A Dakota carved bone and metal hide scraper, circa the mid-19th century to early 20th century. The bone handle of the scraper features engraved circle and line ornamentation. The metal head is hafted to the handle with leather.The scraper was collected by Jacob C. Pope, Minnesota State Representative 1899-1903.
