Description: A Plains, possibly Dakota or Gros Ventre (Atsina), cradleboard cover, circa unknown but stylistically dated to the mid to late 19th century. The cradleboard cover features a heavily beaded red wool top with a five pointed star amid crosses and stripes in yellow, light green, pink, red, light blue and dark blue beads. The top terminates in a beaded tab with leather fringe. The body of the cradleboard cover is composed of dark blue wool.
