Description: A leather pipe bag, possibly Dakota or Plains Cree, that has beadwork on the lower half that is sewn on heavy cotton canvas and applied, circa 1900. Ribbon binds the top edges of the bag. The beadwork and general shape of the bag indicate its origin with the Plains Cree.
