Description: An embroidered table cover, possibly Dakota or Ojibwe, circa the late 19th to early 20th century. The square linen table cover is decorated with embroidery in a heart-shape motif with herringbone hem-stitched edges. Predominant colors are red orange, gold, green, black, yellow, purple and brown. Collected by Bishop Henry Benjamin Whipple.
