Description: A Dakota leather envelope bag, lane-stitch decorated with yellow, pink and blue, glass seed beads, circa the early 20th century. The top corners feature metal cones with remains of orange dyed horsehair inserts. An inscription inside the bag, written by hand in ink, reads: "Presented to Mrs. Whipple/ June 1902/ by Nagiyuhewin/ Mrs. Moore."
