Quilled arm bands

Description: A pair of armbands, possibly Dakota, circa the mid- to late 19th century. Each armband is composed of three leather bands wrapped with blue and white porcupine quills fastened in circlet with thong knots. Three leather cords wrapped with quills are attached at circlet closure.
