Description: A pair of Dakota deerskin moccasins with pinked cuff, circa the mid- to late 19th century. The vamp or insert is decorated with silk fabric strips forming diamond shapes in applique. The predominant colors are red, pale green, and gold. Pink thread decorates the vamp seam. The flap below cuff is bound with red silk ribbon.
