Titles: Dakota "possibles" bag (Supplied title)

Description: A Dakota carrying or storage bag made of tanned leather, circa 1900. A beadwork panel on the front of the bag features geometric designs in shades of yellow, blue, green and red on a white background. Similar panels decorate the sides and top flap of the bag, as do pairs of tinkler cones terminating in tufts of dyed-red horsehair. The bag ties shut when thin leather strips are threaded through holes in the top flap and fastened to matching strips below the front beadwork panel.
