Description: Soft leather Dakota awl case with beaded exterior and white scalloped beadwork edge trimming. The base has long leather fringe that is wrapped with dyed red quills. A leather thong for hanging the case is also wrapped with quill. Awl case was collected in Mandan, North Dakota.
