Description: Cameo brooch featuring a central engraving, in the classical style, of a seated woman playing a lyre. Two rows of pearls surround the engraving. Given by Mary Shumway Heywood Chase to her sister Sarah Hubbard Heywood Folwell on the occasion of Sarah's wedding to writer and academic William Watts Folwell in 1863.
