Description: A Dakota leather pipe bag edged with beadwork at the mouth and base and trimmed with rolled buckskin fringe at the perimeter, circa the late 19th century. Vertical strips of painted parfleche are attached to the bag and covered with quillwork. The neck of the bag is daubed with yellow paint.
