Titles: Headdress (Supplied title)

Description: A headdress, possibly Dakota, with ermine trailers on either side of a beaded leather headband and thirty-two feathers from a mature eagle, circa 1930. The headband features a geometric pattern of glass seed beads, predominantly blue-green, red, and gold, with outlines in white. A round leather piece is sewn to the cap above each ear and decorated similarly to the headband. Eagle feather quills are wrapped in rawhide and red wool cloth; red horsehair is affixed to the tip of each feather. Small white feathers are sewn on cap top.
