Description: A pipe bowl and stem carved out of pipestone (catlinite), possibly Dakota, circa the late 19th or early 20th century. The bowl is an asymmetrical, squared v-shape with a pierced triangular keel serrated along its rear edge. The stem is cylindrical except for a square section segment where it bends back from the vertical. A wood tube joins stem and bowl.
