Titles: Ghost Dance shirt (Supplied title)
Description: A Ghost Dance shirt, possibly Dakota, made of unbleached muslin painted in blue and brown dyes, circa the late 19th to mid-20th century. The shirt is in poor condition and, as a result, has been fully encapsulated by the Minnesota Historical Society. It was reportedly given to the donor's grandfather, of Sioux City, Iowa, by members of a Dakota tribe, circa 1889. Secured by a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Keewaydin Chapter, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
