Description: Paper sheet with three bank notes from D.B. Dorman of St. Anthony, Minnesota, pasted to it. Face value of each note, from top to bottom: $0.15, $0.25, $0.10. Each bill reads, in part, "D. B. DORMAN, Banker, / Pay the Bearer on Demand, / [amount] CENTS / In Currency when presented in sums of One Dollar. / St. Anthony, Sept. 30, 1862." Each bill is stamped "Accepted" and signed "D B Dorman". A caption below the notes is typed: "Specimen of fractional currency "Script", issued by merchants after the disappearance of silver coins and before the government fractional currency came into circulation--1862."
