Titles: Lakota bow (Supplied title)

Description: A Lakota or Dakota bow, reportedly used at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876, carved out of wood into a slightly curved form with a corded twine bowstring. The bowstring is tied around the bottom of the bow and around a notch at the top. The back of the bow has a few scrapes and a knot.
