Description: Leather knife sheath with beaded and metal decoration is probably Dakota. One exterior side is plain while the other side is a single piece of leather entirely covered with lazy-stitched beadwork in a geometric pattern on a white bead background. All sewing and beadwork uses sinew. A row of small tin cones strung on leather thongs is laced to the center of the beadwork side of the sheath. The plain side has two vertical slits near the top through which is strung a tan cord knotted in a loop. A small white paper tag is tied to the cord and pencilled "w[checkmark]".
