Description: Dakota quiver collected by Herbert L. Hinckley from the Indian Agency at Standing Rock, South Dakota circa 1870. The quiver is made of badger skin with some of the animal's hairs left attached, particularly near its opening; its bottom is fringed. A leather tassel partially wrapped in felt terminates in a decorative feather.
