Titles: Dakota beaded drumstick (Supplied title)
Description: A Dakota beaded drumstick with feather trim on the end of the handle, circa 1900. The head is hide covered, the handle cloth covered. The beadwork is primarily green and white with red and blue. The drumstick was purchased by the donor, who states that he "traveled for the Bradley and Metcalf Company of Milwaukee, and for eight years made the drive west of Pierre, South Dakota, when that was all open range country except for the Indian reservations."
