Description: A pair of Dakota sinew and thread sewn leather moccasins with rawhide sole, circa 1900. The shoes are decorated with dyed quillwork and glass seed beads in geometric patterns. Predominant colors are red, purple, white, and blue. The tongue tabs have metal tinkler cones with reminents of orange feathers, and the foot opening is bound with cloth. They have a leather thong tie closure and heel seam fringe.
