Description: A pair of Dakota sinew sewn leather moccasins with rawhide sole, circa 1862. They are decorated with glass seed beads in geometric motif in yellows, green, reds, and blue. They have a leather thong tie closure and pinked tongue. They were reportedly owned by Mdewakanton Dakota Chief Shakopee (Little Six).
