Description: A pair of Dakota leather bands decorated with quill that has been dyed red, purple and orange, circa 1900. Four quill wrapped leather thongs dangle from each armband, each terminates in a metal cone that has dyed horsehair projecting from the larger end. The armbands are from the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, South Dakota.
