Description: A Dakota necklace loop consists of four strands of white glass beads braided into a thick rope whose ends join and terminate in a beaded tassel, circa 1900. Above the tassel are several large white porcelain beads inlaid with pale blue, dark blue, gold and pink floral decoration. The porcelain beads are broken. The necklace is from the Cheyenne River Reservation, South Dakota.
