Description: Small Dakota beaded sheath for a scissors or knife collected from the Cheyenne River Reservation, South Dakota, circa 1900. Two edges are fringed, and the handle is edged with multicolor beads. Either side of the sheath has a quillwork design with red quills. This object was probably made as a tourist item at the turn of the 20th century.
