Description: A Dakota belt with a geometric pattern beadwork band that uses white, yellow, red, blue and gold beads to form triangles and inverted triangles with a white bead border, circa 1900. The belt has a small metal buckle on one end and a 6.75 inch leather strap on the other with two grommets. The belt is from the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, South Dakota.
