Description: A fixed-stone-head club, possibly Dakota, circa the second half of the 19th century. Stone head smoothed into oval shape with pointed ends and left raw at center where it is secured with leather strap attached to wood shaft. Leather strap is spot-stitch beaded with multicolored glass seed beads. Wood shaft is wrapped with cotton fabric and wound with strands of multicolored glass seed beads, with leather strip at bottom tip.
