Description: A Dakota scored pipestone (catlinite) pipe bowl and decorated stem carved out of sumac, circa the 1970s. The beaded cover slip is divided into three sections with the colors black, yellow and red predominating. A rawhide strip attaches feathers and pony beads. Made by Bob Crooks of St. Paul, Minnesota and distributed by Neva Williams and the American Indian Products Co., Inc.
