Description: A doll made by members of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, circa the early 20th century or earlier. The female doll has a cloth body; a leather head with painted and drawn facial features; yarn hair; a bead necklace; a collared cloth dress with fringe at the hem; and a multi-colored yarn belt. Green beads decorate the dress's bottom portion and collar, as well as the boots.
