Description: A pair of painted, swaddled infant dolls in a felt pouch, made in Mendota, Minnesota, by Dakota people while dwelling there, circa the mid-2oth century or earlier. The dolls are made of commercial composite plastic and swaddled in grey and red felt inside a tan and purple felt pouch with a green felt hanger and accented with blue and green beads.
