Description: A Northern Plains, possibly Cree or Dakota, pair of hide moccasins with leather thong tie closure, circa the mid-20th century or earlier. The vamp is decorated with glass seed beads in a loose in floral motif. Predominant colors are dark and light blue, red, white, dark and light green, gold, and orange. One of the moccasins is stuffed.
