Stone pipe bowl

Description: A T-shaped black stone pipe bowl with inlaid metal and red stone (probably catlinite) in a geometric design along both bowl and shank, possibly Dakota, circa the mid-20th century or earlier. The bowl consists of a cylindrical vertical segment and a rectangular shank with the distal end tapering to a pointed heel. A rubber band is wrapped around the joint between bowl and shank.
