Description: A pair of Dakota miniature beaded leather moccasins stuffed with cotton and connected to the upper buckskin pinback by strands of white beads, circa the late 20th century or earlier. The pin is outlined with brilliant green plastic beads and ornamented with tiny beadwork flowers. The pin was made by Leona Larson (Lucio), and presented to Nina Archabal, Director of the Minnesota Historical Society, at a Traditional Dakota Dinner held by the Lower Sioux Indian Community on September 11, 1987.
