Description: A Dakota beaded knife sheath from Fort Bennett, South Dakota, circa the last quarter of the 19th century. It has a lane-stitched geometric pattern in yellow, dark blue, green and white beads on leather, with a leather strap and a yellow and blue beaded leather tassel at the bottom tip.
