Police prostitute decoy wig
|
| Description | This champagne blonde woman's wig was worn by a female Saint Paul Police Officer acting as a prostitute decoy in the 1970s. A Ramsey County Judge had ruled that in order to avoid being discriminatory, the Police Department would have to arrest male customers as well as female prostitutes. The female officer who wore this wig volunteered for the undercover work and was very successful; on her first day on Selby Avenue near Western Avenue she made sixty arrests. The wig is just longer than shoulder length in a semi-shag cut, worn curled. The wig was made in Korea. |
