Description: Brown leather riding boots with Prince of Wales style spurs attached with a leather strap around the front and a metal chain under the around the bottom. The chains around the bottom are actually curb chains which are usually a part of a western bridle. Used by Norman F. Claussen of Saint Paul, Minnesota, during his service in the Field Artillery of the Mexican Border War and World War I, circa.1916-1918.
