Description: A Dakota paper knife carved from red pipestone, circa the late 19th or early 20th century. The handle of the knife is carved to resembla a fish. A paper label affixed to the handle reads, "CHAS. H. BENNETT, Pharmacist / Bennett Bldg., Pipestone, Minn. / PAPER KNIFE / made from Pipe Stone by Dakota Indians".
