Description: French Armed Forces Model 1915 steel helmet painted gray and featuring an applied raised crest and a leather strap and liner. Attached to the front is the insignia of the French forces, "RF", on a grenade. Worn by Ezra Benham Curry of Saint Paul, Minnesota, who served with the Norton-Harjes Motor Ambulance Corps in France during World War I.
