I have this same sewing machine by Willcox & Gibbs. I inherited it from a friend of mine who's grandparents owned it, they both recently passed away. They lived in the bay area here in California. If anyone could point me in the right direction as far as where I should go to get this appraised, or perhaps where I could go to sell it. Im hoping that I can find a buyer for it soon as I dont have any desire or use for it. I appreciate any help or assistance anyone can give me. Thank you for your time, Tiffany Clark

I just bought a machine that looks like a Wilcox and gibbs but it says American Sewing Machine company. There is no w in the iron work. It does have a butterfly foot peddle. Made in Belvedere NY. I can't seem to find out much. The iron work is pretty. Cabinet is nice with the wooden top. If it is designed by Wilcox and Gibbs, why did they label it American sewing machine Co?
