US Army Model 1850 sword and scabbard

| Description | United States Army staff and field officer's Model 1850 sword and copper scabbard. This set was used during the Civil War by Lieutenant Colonel Calvin S. Uline of the Second Minnesota Infantry Regiment. The etched sword was made by Tiffany and Company of New York and by Collins and Company of Hartford, Connecticut. The scabbard has brass mountings and floral relief decoration. |
