Lakota tipi model
A Lakota miniature model of a tipi from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota, circa the late 19th century. The tipi is composed of an interior structure of wooden rods over which a hide covering with painted designs has been placed. The tipi has a small flap door at front and an opening at the top.
