Fringed hide shirt

| Description | Hide shirt, probably Oglala, has a fold-over collar and front opening that extends halfway down the front and closes with a leather thong tie. The bottom hem is fringed, and a wide band of fringe is applied to the collar in back. A chevron ornaments each sleeve above the cuffs. The shirt was collected at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota. |
