Costume worn for Guerrilla Theatre production. Blue hospital gown with an upside down pink triangle and white paint stripes. AIDS demonstration at the St. Paul Civic Center. Berean League was holding their AIDS conference and this was a protest against their conservative views and suggestion to quarantine people with AIDS. Characters were in white face and in a wire enclosure, then marched in later. The protest turned out to be disruptive, probably was covered in the television and papers; 1980's. |
