Description: A beaded chain belt, possibly Dakota, that was a gift to the donor's mother from a Dakota person at Fort Ripley, Minnesota, circa the late 19th or early 20th century. The belt is comprised of geometric beaded designs on a white bead background with three forked tassels at each end terminating in fabric balls.
