Titles: Wedding camisole (Supplied title)
Description: Partially machine-sewn camisole owned by Louisa A. Anderson. The camisole's top has a drawstring at the neckline and is made up of vertical strips of fine lawn with lace inserts at two-inch intervals. The lawn is shirred crosswise. The camisole's lower part is made of fine cotton. Its built-up shoulders, neckline and armholes are edged in two inches of lace. Its buttons are lace-covered metal. "Louisa A. Anderson Jan. 10th, 1865 from Dora Schulz" is written on the right side of the waist front. Louisa Alexander Anderson married Andrew Carr Kemper in Louisville, Kentucky on January 10, 1865.
