A letter of Verna Goodthunder, of Morton, Minnesota dated March 27, 1939, to Miss Kern Bayliss reads in part, "Am sending you my father's name and translation of the verse. Name: Charles Whipple Goodthunder; Translation of those words: Matthew 5:46 'For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the Publicans the same?" |
