Titles: Bobbin lace frame (Supplied title)
Description: A bobbin lace picture frame or mat made with linen thread, possibly Ojibwe or Dakota, circa the late 19th to early 20th century. It is rectangular, featuring tape work in floral and leaf design of two central branches with hexagonal mesh ground and tape lace border. Backed with cream colored silk. Collected by Bishop Henry Benjamin Whipple.
