Titles: Mixed lace doily (Supplied title)
Description: A mixed lace doily made with linen thread, possibly Ojibwe or Dakota, circa the late 19th to early 20th century. The linen center has mixed lace edging consisting of tape work in leaf and floral motif, joined by needle made turtle braids, spiders, wheatears and mesh fillings. The border is scalloped with attached picot edging. Collected by Bishop Henry Benjamin Whipple.
