Description Birchbark notebook part of the Bishop Henry Benjamin Whipple Collection. Cover and pages made of birchbark. Cover is bound with sweetgrass and thread. Floral designs made from dyed porcupine quills are embroidered on the front and back covers. Possibly attributed to the Dakota or Ojibwe.
