Description: An elbow style pipestone pipe bowl with mottling and lead inlay on posterior projection in a band of diagonal lines, possibly Dakota, circa the mid- to late 19th century. It has a cylindrical wood stem with an overall carved floral motif, painted in bright colors and a carved spiral design at one end, also brightly painted. The predominant colors are blue, green, red, yellow, orange and white.
